PORTO 53, World Culinary Adventure & Foresta - Bandung

Hello again :D

Few months ago, me and my friends went to this restaurant in Setiabudhi. The place is really cute and cozy. I spent about 3 hours there. Beside that, the food was so yummy eventough the service is a little bit lame. Okay let's see my review about the food in this restaurant. We went to this restaurant at 2 p.m. and it was so quiet there, only three of us. Beside Porto, there is cake shop, Foresta, which located at the same venue. Because my friends already have their lunch so they decided to taste the cakes. The first cake is Oreo Cake (Rp 23.000,00). The texture of this cake is a little bit dry and it tastes is not as good as the appearance of this cake. But at least we can feel the oreo cake there.

For the second cake, my friend chose Red Velvet Cake (Rp 20.000,00). From the texture we could see that it contained a lot of cream cheese. Unfortunately, three of us really didnt like this cake because it felt strange. The cream cheese is too much and also the cake is not taste like Red Velvet, we though it tastes like "bolu ketan item".

For the main course of this review, I chose El Pollo (Rp 49.000,00). This dish is made of boiled chicken fillet stuffed with beef bacon, melting cheese, and served with mashed potato, sauce vegetable, and salsa sauce. This is soooo delicious and it has a big portion from my opinion. I like the way they combine all of the ingredients in this dish especially the chicken fillet and melting cheese. This restaurant is a recommended place to chit chat with your friends and also if you want to have delicious dish eventough the price is a little bit high. But from my point of view, the price is really reasonable instead of the delicious dish and also it has big portion too. For your information, Porto doesn't serve any pasta dishes. They really focus to serve beef, lamb, fresh seafood etc. If you want to go to this restaurant, you should try their "Duck Confit" because my friend recommended this to me. Unfortunately I don't like duck so I don't want to taste it :p This is a must place to go if you go to Bandung for culinary. I bet you won't regret.

Korean Mart Bandung

Hello! This is my first post :D

Finally I make a blog for reviewing the food that I tasted before. Why this blog is about food? Because I am the kind of person who love to go to unique places which serve varieties of food. I really enjoy myself trying any kind of food especially chocolate. But, I am going to review about korean food for my first post. Okay, let's see my first review :)

Korean Mart is located at Jalan Sukajadi (near PVJ). It is not a unique place from the ambience but the food is soooo tasty from my point of view. In this restaurant, for the appetizer I tried to taste this one (I am sorry I forget the name of this dish). It is made of kuchai and pork (non halal). I like this dish and it is so crispy. They also serve complimentary kimchi for us and I ate the kimchi with this dish beause I don't like kimchi that much.

For the main course, I tried this one. Pardon me because I also forget the name of this dish. It is made of squid and a little bit spicy also sweet. This dish really suits best if we eat with rice.

Beside that, I also tried another main course. It is made of chicken and it tastes sweet and also savory. This dish is the winner of today's review. The portion in this restaurant is big and when I ate all of those dishes with my boyfriend, we were really full. For main course menu the price is about Rp 45.000,00. I want to go back to this restaurant again with my friends. Why? Because the price is affordable and the dishes are delicious eventough the place is not unique. I promise I will be back to this restaurant and want to taste the Honey Chicken because my friend recommended it to me.
